    Super accommodating. I was making a reservation for a evening with my girlfriend with that came multiple requests. The general manager was able to accommodate many of them and the ones he did not he made more than adequate substitutions. The rooms were large and clean, room service was tasty, and the front desk attendants were very welcoming. I even received money towards an incredible brunch in the morning. Overall the unique decor, cleanliness, and overall hospitality make this a 5 star stay.

    Second time staying here. Wasn't so great this time. Bathtub didn't stay filled, no postings in the site about the pool/whirl pool not being for the season yet. Just seemed that the quality of care for the place has slipped since my last visit. Other wise great polite people and perfect location for down town visiting.

    We had a great time staying at Hotel Metro! As other reviews indicate, the rooms are due for an update. There were some issues, the fireplace and the spa tub drain did not work properly. The room was cozy and slightly underwhelming, especially for the price. The staff here is amazing though and made up for the deficits of the building. Every person we interacted with was awesome! The valets, front desk, housekeeper, waitstaff, bellhop... they were all very welcoming, attentive, and just great all around. We got a peek at the new room design and it will be amazing! The staff all obviously take pride in the hotel and their customer service. As long as they keep these great people working after the updates, this will be a must visit location!

    Hotel Metro was ok. Room size was good. Beds were comfortable and clean. Staff & valet service were very friendly. My three problems were the heat lamp was not functioning, the thermostat clearly did not work as it was super hot in our room at night and there was very little hot water during showers.

    One of the best happy hours in the city! All their wines and taps are included in the shockingly low prices for happy hour drinks. The bartenders and friendly and chatty, and the upscale atmosphere provides a comfortable, intimate place for conversation. Service gets a little slow when they get busy, especially if you sit at a table or outside.
